Doubled Money In 3 Years - Case Study
I started investing in multifamily real estate syndications about 3 1/2 years ago. I was nervous as investments are typically between $50,000-$100,000 per investment. It’s a passive investment and it’s usually based on a 5 year business plan so your money is tied up illiquid for the duration of the investment.
High level, this is what happened;
- 3 1/2 years ago, I invested $100,000 into a multifamily syndication
- Last month the property sold and I received my original $100,000 investment plus another $120,000 in profits back
- I invested passively into this deal so I did not spend any time managing the deal
I wasn’t sure if this was possible when I invested. I heard stories but I still wasn’t sure. I took action even though I was nervous about it and it worked out. I’ve invested in a number of these transactions and hoping that we achieve similar results.
How To Get Involved?
Here’s what I would advise;
- Get educated, read books, listen to podcasts, join a mentorship group
- Network with other people that have done it
- Make a decision and write down your goal
- Commit to making that goal become a reality
- Take action
